Governor Lujan Grisham has signed Senate Bill 246 – Capital Outlay Reauthorization on March 6, 2024. This is an important update for all teams involved in capital outlay projects.
To ensure proper reimbursement, it’s crucial to submit your RFPs related to these re-authorizations by June 14, 2024. Please send them to IAD.AccountsPayable@iad.nm.gov and CC Lawrence.john@iad.nm.gov. Meeting this deadline is essential to avoid any delays in processing.
Additionally, we encourage you to continue submitting your RFPs for Capital Outlay and TIF projects regularly. This will help us manage the workload efficiently and prevent a surge of submissions in June 2024. RFPs submitted after the June 14 deadline will be placed on the Accrual list, and reimbursements may not be processed until October or November 2024.
